In search of the lost plurality
This article reflects on the history of the loss of plurality in economics, from an autobiographical perspective and with regard to some of the key moments in the discipline. To do so the article embarks on an exploration of economics learning in three cities at three different periods, telling five stories.

A student of economics since 1991, sometimes within economics faculties (bachelor’s degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona; lecturer of Economics and Business Studies at the UOC), other times in social sciences departments (master’s degree in Economy, Space and Society from the University of Manchester; researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies, Lancaster University; researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute), but also outside of universities (economics critical thinking forum Seminari d’Economia Crítica Taifa). Currently director of the lab Urban Transformation in the Knowledge Society at the UOC’s Internet Interdisciplinary Institute.
