Prevention of occupational risks: trends in times of crisis

Industrial Chemical Engineering and PhD in Environmental and Product Engineering from the University of Barcelona. Master in prevention of occupational hazards (three majors) by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Master in Business Administration and Management by the European Business School. He has taught at the University of Barcelona, Polytechnic University of Cartagena and the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona. He was Director of Safety, Health and Environment for an enterprise of fine chemicals between 2005 and 2010. Today he teaches Economics and Business at the UOC and he is a director of the master's degree in Prevention of occupational hazards at this university. Author of several books on Occupational Hazards Prevention and articles in journals.
Lawyer, Law Degree from the University of Barcelona and Master in Information and Knowledge Society from the Open University of Catalonia. Since 1999 she is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UOC, where she teaches today, and during the years 2006-2009 she has held the position as deputy to the Vice President for Academic Organization and Professors.
She is a member of the research group DigiBiz (Digital Business Research Group), attached to the IN3. Her research interests are currently focused on the study of the relationship between the use of ICT and work and the development of flexible forms of work and teleworking, with a special emphasis on corporate responsibility in preventing risks associated with teleworking.
